TO THE CITIZENS OF WALLER

The City of Waller regular scheduled Council meeting in the past have started at 7:00 p.m. At the June 18th Council meeting, Council approved and adopted Resolution # 2018-10, setting the time of all future regular monthly Council meetings to 6:00 p.m.

EFFECTIVE 10/01/18: CREDIT CARD FEES WILL INCREASE TO $4.50 PER TRANSACTION.

City of Waller Residents:

The excitement is starting to build with the anticipated construction of the New City Hall just around the corner. In preparation for the new building listed below are a few things you will see over the next few months:

• Closure of Cherry Street
• Fencing will go up around 2200 Cherry Street for demolition purposes
• Both the Cherry Street and the EDC building will be demolished over the next month
• There may be anticipated noise and bright lights when the actual construction begins
• Construction for the new City Hall is schedule to begin mid-September

A burn ban is NOT in effect for Waller County. For more information, contact City Hall at 936-372-3880. Burning is allowed in the city in approved containers only when the Burn Ban has been lifted.

The first Saturday of each month heavy trash and recyclable items can be brought to the Sewer Plant located at 102 Walnut, 8:00 am to Noon; proof of residency will be needed.

First Monday of each month Curbside heavy trash pick-up is available. Please call 979-277-1160 for pick up. Four (4) items allowed (no tires or anything with Freon).
