Fire Department

The Waller Volunteer Fire Department (WVFD) visits area schools and teaches children about fire safety and fire prevention. For example, WVFD visited the Children's Learning Center (CLC) where 3 and 4 year old children are enrolled. Dwayne Hajek and his volunteers talked to the children about what to do in case of a fire. Fire Fighters passed out Junior Volunteer badges to all kids as they climbed into the fire truck to get a look at what's inside. Every child was given the opportunity to take home a coloring book and stickers to share with their family.
